Chapter 40. The Bracelet

“Are... are you sure?” Roxanne asked, stuttering, and I nodded my head in affirmation. There was no way I was mistaken about this. This must be the reason why Kylian has been able to keep an eye on her and knows about the happenings in her surroundings.

I used my powers to create a dark cloud around us. This was because I wanted him to be blind to our discussion in case my theory happened to be correct. 

When dealing with such a scheming enemy, one needs to be very careful. As for all I know, he could be watching us right now, and I didn’t want him to know that the cats were out of the bag.

“Come closer,” I urged Roxanne, and she strolled to where I was, like a cute little puppy.

“Did Kylian ever give you a special watch or bracelet or anything of such nature?” I questione
