Chapter 45. Found Dead

Dominic’s POV

She is seated right next to me, acting like I don’t even exist. From the corner of my eyes, I can see her looking out the window, gazing at the trees, avoiding my eyes at all cost. 

We are heading to the hospital to find out what is wrong with Harriet, she is not taking her calls and she hasn’t shown up since she went over to the hospital. It’s true that she is one of my best warriors, but king Ashford doesn’t fight fair and I’m pretty sure that his spies won’t engage in a fair fight either. They may have used one of those illegal serums that he makes on her, she could be taken unawares, because she is not prepared for something like that.

She is right, you know. If anything happens to Harriet, it’s going to be my fault.
