The way to the dungeon was more complicated than I ever thought.
I was amazed that Jonas came to an idea like this. He set too many traps, ensuring that if his prisoners could break out from their cells, it was very certain that with these deadly traps, they wouldn’t make it out of this place alive. So they would either wait for their verdict or die trying to escape from here.
The dungeon was constructed under his extravagant palace. Never in my imagination would I ever make a single step inside this place. And only Claire made me experience things that I never thought I would ever experience. It’s actually an old cave with spiraling stairs down the bottom and at the walls, they carved the small cells for their prisoners.
“I wonder what’s the true purpose of these so many cells,” I asked Jonas, murmuring the words. I don’t want my voice to be echoed in this dark, cold place, too anxious to hear any living thing begging for mercy here.
