Chapter 148. The Miracle of Life

I cannot contain the anxiety in me when Edison didn’t come back into our room last night. I always felt he was hiding something from me but I trusted him that he could handle everything since Jonas was helping him with their plan to conquer back the Tyrell Pack from the hands of Ralph Rutherford.

I believe that no matter what happens, Edison won’t do anything risky because he knows me and his soon-to-be daughter are always waiting for him to come back safe and uninjured from every battle he wins. I am always waiting for him so we can share a future together and never have to suffer being separated again because of his duty as the Alpha of his people.

I rushed and looked for Jonas inside the palace, to ask him where Edison went and found him standing in front of the portrait of his late wife. I decided to enter the great hall of a thousand white flowers despite my knowledge that this is a sacred place for him, and no one could en
