Chapter 10

Mia's POV

I want to rise from the bed to beg her, but she points her fist directly at me. "Hey, remain on that bed!" I almost let out urine from my core with the intense fear that has cascaded over me. I thought Gavin was the only demon I had to battle with not knowing I was yet to meet another, worse than him. Right now I don't know what my next fate would be being caught between two beasts.

She dashes towards the bed where I'm lying in fear, she attempts to pounce on me but before she can do this, Gavin is already on top of her pulling her away and farther from me. I breathe a sigh of relief but still, I know we are not done, she isn't done with me, my heart bleeds seeing the fate I've gotten into.
