Chapter 101

Mia's POV

The chilly atmosphere was the first thing I saw as she opened my eyes. I knew at once that it's morning, then I lifted her eyes to the clock on the wall, it's 6 AM. It's then that Gavin, who was sleeping by her side opens his eyes. It's thrilling to have to sleep on the same bed with each other, lying side by side. 

The bedside lamp shines through the room, although darkly. It gives a little bit of direction in the room, I look out through the floor-to-ceiling window, the outside world is just as calm as ever, drops of dew rests on the glass, my eyes land from here on Gavin, those charming eyes of his captures seizing my breath. 

"Good morning, honey." I wish to lean close and give him a peck on the cheeks as a morning kiss, but then he turns his face away, a signal he didn't want it. I couldn't make him feel uncomfortable. He purposely shifted to evade my kiss. I then recalled that I've not tried this before, she might wonder what's going on.&n
