“Let me get this straight—you are assigning me to clean your suite alongside Eleanor?” Natasha asked, and I nodded, raising an eyebrow at her. “Don’t I do enough around the house already?”

“All you do is sit on your phone alongside your mom while everyone else works,” I said, raising an amused eyebrow at her. Natasha was the one person I never forced to do anything around the house. Her working here was not something I liked to begin with, but I knew it was because Liana wanted her to stay after she completed her university, not wanting her to go work for someone else—not that I would have allowed it anyway. And I didn’t mind; I loved having her around us, and the last thing I was going to do was say something that annoyed or hurt Liana.
