Killian POV
I glared at the woman as I held her in place, forcing her to face me.
Her heart raced against her chest, and she shook her head as she tried pushing me away.
The smell of blood filled my nostrils, and I frowned as I looked down at her body, noticing the blood on her legs.
“I fucking suggest that you start talking before I make you regret—” My wolf perked at the sound of her whimper, and I couldn’t stop the low growl that escaped my chest. “Who are you? And I suggest that you answer me now.”
“I’m sorry, I left…” she said, trying to find the right response to give me. “I had to hide. They would have sent me back if they found out that I was injured, and that isn’t something I wanted.”
