Chapter 74

Killian POV

Eleanor froze as she looked at me, processing my words, clearly surprised as she blinked.

I leaned in and kissed her, leaving the gun on the bed between the two of us.

She took a deep breath as she pulled away, and resting my forehead against hers, I ran my finger over her cheekbone.

“I love you, Eleanor.” I whispered to her. The words flowed out of my lips so smoothly that my own voice seemed foreign to my own ears.

Eleanor froze, processing what I told her; however, I was quick to kiss her, not wanting her to feel like she was forced to say it back. I just wanted her to know how I felt about her and more importantly, I wanted her to know that someone was going to love her with everything that he had. And that someone was me.
