The second I stepped into the infirmary, the tension hit me like a brick wall.
Sienna was pacing barefoot, her long hospital gown trailing slightly behind her as she tugged at the IV taped to her arm. Amelia stood stiffly by the wall, arms crossed, clearly trying not to explode. One of the nurses looked like she was one second away from calling security.
“What is the meaning of this?” I asked the second that I walked inside. “Your commotion, whatever it is that you're doing, can be heard a mile away. What do you want?”
