Removing the hood covering her head, Drusilla walked down the steps which led to the covenstead. An ugly smirk was plastered on her face as she thought of what must have happened back there.

“ That poor girl must have torn to pieces and eaten by now.” She smirked evilly imagining the scene in her head. She really wished she had stayed back and witnessed the Supreme Alpha's mate being eaten by those flesh eaters but she knew she couldn’t. She couldn’t afford to even if she wished.

That was the Alpha’s territory. Drusilla couldn’t risk being caught there. She knew sooner or later, the Alpha would come after his mate and if he happens to catch her there. Then she would be done for.

Like all the other witches, Drusilla too was afraid of the Alpha. The only difference was that she never showed her fear in front of the others. And why won’t she be afraid? The Supreme Alpha was a vicious man. His hatred was not something to play with. And the fact that he was almost invis
