Haven's head reeled as she stared at Tristan's beaming face. All her life, Haven had dreamt of being with Tristan.

Even after he betrayed her, even after she found out she was mated to the supreme alpha, Haven still longed for him. A small part of her longed to be with Tristan and Haven hated herself for that every single day.
