Haven couldn’t mistake this big black wolf anywhere. The size, the pitch black fur, those blue eyes.. there was no mistaken it. It was her mate.

But what was Lucious doing here? Hadn’t he come to find her?

Haven looked on in confusion seeing the black wolf bent over Seraphina. It was howling and licking her as though it was urging for her to wake up. One could hear the agony in it’s voice howled as it howled into the sky.

The scene reminded Haven of someone mourning the death of a person he cared about. It was as if Seraphina was someone close to his heart. That made Haven frown. Lucious never liked Seraphina even for a second. It was clear from the way he acted around her. One could even say he hated her.
