Chapter 294

“This better be urgent for you to call by this time of the night” Lucious’ raspy voice muttered, his eye on his sleeping mate.

“Two more packs have been destroyed up in  north. Three other smaller ones in the south and one close to the crescent pack” Raphael’s worried voice came from the other end.

“Six packs have been destroyed in just two days. If this keeps up…” he trailed off.

Lucious grimaced and slipped out of bed “How much time do we have left?”

“I’m afraid not much, Alpha”

“Fine. I’ll go check this out myself. Get a car. We leave tonight” Lucious ended the call.

“You’re going somewhere?” Haven’s sleepy voice made him spun around.

“I woke you up, didn’t I?” He slipped back into bed and watched his tiny mate snuggle into his arms.

“Do you have to go?” She pouted.

“Yes, I must”

“What’s wrong?” Haven frowned, noticing him tense up all of a sudden “Is everything okay?”

“Everything’s ne” Lucious gave her a reas
