Chapter 44

Haven's pace had slowed down by now. They had been running for hours. Haven could see a small opening. She felt really tired.

" I think we should stop here and rest?" Haven heard Kira suggest.. She nodded. She felt really exhausted.

" I'm hungry" She whined. She hadn't eaten since yesterday. And with all the running she just did, Haven could feel the strength leaving her body. She shifted back into her human form , walking weakly. Her whole body ached.

Haven looked down at her long gown. She would have some difficulty walking around with this. She reached down and caught the hem of her gown. So far, this was one of the most beautiful gown she had ever worn.

Haven sighed as she held it tight, ' I'm sorry Alicia' She silently said before ripping it off. The once beautiful ball gown now turned into a short gown stopping just above her knees.

" Not bad" Kira commented as they looked at the gown. Haven giggled.
