A knock on the door jolted Haven out of her thoughts. Who could it be? She wondered, hearing the knock once more.

Then came a third knock, forcing Haven to walk towards the huge double doors.

" Who's there?" Haven called out as she reached the door.

" It's me, ma'am," A female voice answered from outside. Haven opened the door to find a young omega standing with her head bowed.

" The Alpha wanted me to hand these to you," She passed some sets of clothes to her.

" Thank you," Haven said, collecting the clothes from the omega and watching her scurry down the hallway. Haven turned back into the room, lost in her own thoughts.

"Why's he so nice to me all of a sudden? Is it because he sees me as his mate now?" She grimaced.
