Alena adjusted herself on the chair, her expectant eyes looking over at Haven “ Then, make me understand” She patiently waited for her to start talking.

“ I’m listening, go on” She urged Haven seeing her still refusing to talk. Haven took a deep breath, thinking of how to put her words.

“ I can’t be with any other man… because.. because I’m in love with someone else” She said making Alena gasp a little.

“ What?” Alena blinked her eyes “ You’re already.. in love?” She asked in a low tone, as if she was afraid of someone else overhearing them.

“ Yes, I’m in love with someone else” Haven admitted sadly. “ I had someone I loved back home”

“ Uhmm, so… ” Alena pursed her lips “ So .. this guy you loved, where is he now?”

Haven shrugged “ I don’t know.. probably home.”

“ But if that’s the case.. why aren’t y with him?” Came Alena’s question. “ He mated with my best friend” Haven felt the painful lump in her throat as she said that.
