“And you ran? Why must you be so adverse to Alpha? You should’ve talked to him, Katarina,” Avi complained, his voice heavy with disappointment.

“I was just….trying to get some air.”

“Yes, right. By running a mile and passing out in middle of the forest. You’ve quite delusional tastes, I must agree,” Avi did not believe me. Nor my words, neither my actions. I wouldn’t believe myself too. I couldn’t tell him the truth for it’d bring complications, but I could not run either.
