Katarina's POV
“There don’t seem to be any major injuries, certainly not the one which would be harmful. Other than a few bruises, Luna is alright.”
Xerxes leaned against the wall with his arms across his chest as he watched the female wolf inspecting my abdomen. She felt the tendons around my stomach and up my chest as Xerxes gritted his teeth.
“Nothing. The wounds are no longer visible.”
I nibbled on my bottom lip. I felt as stumped as the female wolf sounded. I glanced up to steal a glance at my mate whose heterochromatic gaze hadn’t wavered from my face the moment he called the healer here.
I rolled my eyes. He should’ve called for her sooner not after fucking me raw and sore. I averted my gaze as my skin tingled from his heated eyes. He could at least give me a few minutes to breathe and then pound me, but he practically mauled me.
