Katarina's POV

The evening ended with Xerxes announcing I was the Luna of this pack and his mate. Many wolves congratulated me on my pregnancy also, they seemed to know about it somehow.

Strangely, when Aurora and I left the office, Marcus was waiting for her in the garden to take her home. She bid me her farewell, and they left after that. There was something strange about Marcus, however. He seemed stiffened and alert.

After the party was reduced to only countable people remaining, Damien and Xerxes went to the office to discuss ‘something’, and I was left with Daniella and annoying Laura. She, however, helped me clean up the kitchen and the lobby. It took us more than two hours to completely set the place as it was. I liked doing this kind of housework, it made me feel it was also my house.

Daniella was tired by the end of the night, and Laura was grumpy saying how tired some of this work was. I packed some leftovers for them to take home
