I walked past everyone. They all fell silent as they saw me passing. Maybe they thought I was going to kill her or tear her apart. After all, it’s what she-wolfs do. Right? We act on impulse, giving in to our primal ways when we’re mad. Tearing each other apart and not giving a thought to what will happen next.

Except I am not like any other Wolf. I am a Luna, a leader of my pack and I have many little eyes on me. Eyes that I see fit for great future leaders, not only in my pack but for the future of their families. I stand my ground.

I will not be like her. I will not become a cold-hearted sadist, who gives into anger, acting mercilessly as they might think. I will be a good… no… a great role model and will teach my pup to do the same. He or she will grow up to be the best citizen and the best version of himself this pack has ever seen and I will ensure that every pup born into this pack from henceforth does the same.
