Silas - POV

“Fuck this rotten smell,” Ray hissed. “I can’t pick up Emily’s scent.”

 It filled the view of the place with dark and cold and the souls crying in agony to help them out of hellfire, as I took every tentative step and cautiously looked around for any scent, but I could pick up the stench hovering in the air.

“Where are you, Janice,” I growled. The voice echoed back to me, and nothing. I needed to use my powers because I knew this setup was suppressing Ray’s sights and confusing him.

I summoned my magic, which was an extra gift than my wolf. “I hate it. You use magic.” Ray growled.

“You have any other options?” I hissed. 

As soon, I channel my energy, to summon the power to dispel these murky surroundings to see what is going on. I trailed off when my eyes scanned for a glimpse of Maya’s soul, which looked so gloomy and in pain.
