The meeting was soon over and Fentris was the first to leave. I smirked. I had trained hard with Alvida to be able to release my powers in small amounts. The last two days had been rigorous.
We all left the meeting last and entered a private room. André asked two guards to stand at the door and we all stood around the table.
“That was a successful meeting,” Sephora said with a sigh.
André exhaled deeply. His arms were folded across his chest.
“It is too early to conclude. I saw Fentris and how uncomfortable he was. Our victory will start if he buys it and relays the information to his boss.”
I tried my best to hold back my smirk but soon all heads were turned to me, except Alvida and Sephora who acted coolly.
“Is there a problem, Olivia?” Pierre asked, looking concerned.
“Oh. Nothing. I just thought to tell you all that Fentris swallowed everything that we said, hook, line and sinker.”
