Chapter 41. I Need a Break Anyway

Olivia's POV

I was in school in the library, trying to find answers to an assignment. I loved being at Crestwood College, but sometimes the workload could be demanding. I couldn't believe that you were asked to find lycanthropy myths stipulated by humans and compare them to what it was like being an actual werewolf.

I had been on my phone for almost an hour, and most of the things that humans thought about werewolves were simply eyesores.

I felt my phone buzz in my hand, and at the top of the screen, I saw a text message from André.

“I will be out of town on a business trip. Would you like to come along? I don't think a day from school would hurt so much.”

I felt myself grinning from ear to ear. It was as if he had just come to save me in the nick of time. I texted him back instantly.

“I would love to. I need a break anyway.”

I wasn't even up to a minute, and a reply came through.

"A break so soon? But you only just started. *Laughing
