Chapter 49. Fishing the Culprit

André’s POV

Olivia went to school early the next day, and I was alone in my office. I needed to give the phone to Doran for him to analyse the text message. I had already called him to my office, but he was running late.

The afternoon felt a little lonely, and all I could think about was my night with Olivia, having her wrapped in my arms and whimpering softly. She looked beautiful when she was asleep. So peaceful and delicate.

Soon, there was a knock at my door.

"Come in."

The door opened gently, and Doran walked into the office.

"Good afternoon, Alpha."

"Doran, I was waiting for you. I need you to analyse a text message for me. I had a feeling that someone was just playing a prank on her but I didn’t want to take chances with anything that involved my princess.

He gave a weak smile and lowered himself on the chair.

"A reply to the greeting and a little small talk wouldn't hurt before we got down to business. Don't you think?"
