Storm is growling at the enemy, staying closely by his mate’s side. We’re fighting shoulder to shoulder, keeping them off of us as much as we can. They keep coming through the portal, until two wolves arrive and the portal closes. Storm bristles at the sight of the new wolves. They are big, but mostly they ooze black magic. More so than the red eyed monsters we have been fighting so far.

The earth shakes under us, but Skysong immediately tells us it’s her sister’s doing and not to worry. It clears a path to us, and Storm feels the breach in security, but it is not the enemy coming through the path—it’s Celeste.
