Raya’s POV

The moment I locked eyes with Keenan I knew immediately what I had to do. In a flash second I rushed to his side and cried out, “Honey! Are you okay? You’re bleeding.” And while I said this, I dragged him away from the vampire.

I headed in the direction of a medic shop as I felt the stare of hundreds of people looking at us.

“Why am I here?” before we got too far we heard the voice of the vampire behind us.

I turned to look back briefly and I saw that the vampire’s countenance had changed somewhat. He still had on torn clothes but something was different about him.
