Chapter 54

Keenan’s POV

A week after Raya had left for the Dark Moon pack, I followed suit. My destination however was to the military base of the Dark Moon pack which was an extension of the palace. My plan was to watch Thallus closely and get information that will bring the Alpha and his croons down.

With Raya in Lord Christopher’s house and I in the palace, I was positive we could gather enough intel to bring Thallus’s reign to an end. One thing I knew was that if I had to kill Thallus in cold blood to achieve my revenge, I would do it.

However, my revenge and that of Raya superseded the spillage of blood. Things had to be done the right way so that innocent people do not suffer and a new ruler who would have the interest of the people in mind will be crowned the new Alpha.

I had written an application ahead of time, and it had been accepted for an interview. If this had not worked I would have resorted to plan B, but there was no need for that. I had been s
