Chapter 192

Adrian’s POV

I went upstairs to look for Camilla in her room. I knocked on her door and she didn’t respond but it was slightly open so I went in.

“Mia.”

I said under my breath when I saw her sitting at the edge of the bed with her eyes closed. Her bed had files on it and two laptops. What caught my eye was the pocket knife beside her with blood stains. I scanned her body and my eyes landed on her arm where I saw dried blood and fresh blood rolling down her arm.

“Oh God Mia what have you done?”

She opens her eyes and closes them before opening her eyes again today.

“Adrian.” she whispered softly.

“What are you doing to yourself baby?” I cried.

“Nothing.” She shakes her head in denial but I’m no fool to see the evil she subjected her poor self.

“The little pocket knife stained with blood tells me a different story.”

“I wasn’t trying to kill myself.” Camilla says laughing.
