Chapter 71

Camilla’s POV

I shake my head and look towards Raquel, “Take your sister home. I’m sorry I called you a little bully bitch and whatever this was, it stays here. Make your sister believe she dreamt it.”

“How ca—”

I shrug, “Figure it out and keep away from Tiana.” I say putting emphasis on the ana, “and oh, in case you forgot, exams are tomorrow. It’s Monday already.” I say pulling Tee with me.

I drag her to a pizza place that’s always open, my brother’s wife cousin works here. We sit in the corner of the booth, eyeing each other silently. Tee buys us smoothies and a pizza, I put my phone on the table when the pizza arrives. It’s three in the morning and I’m eating pizza with a demented eighteen year old that refuses to accept she has issues deeper than emotional trauma.

“I am sorry.”

“You’ll have to be more specific than that.”

She smiles blankly, “I’m sorry for everything. For waking you up but mostly for forcing you to lie for me.”
