Chapter 23. Numerous Thoughts

Amelia’s POV

After dinner, Rofus immediately disappeared from our sight. I didn’t even choose to ask Nikita where he went. She might think that I am so interested in his details, which is quite true as he looks mysterious to me.

After we ate, the maidservant brought and accompanied us to the room where we were going to sleep. It was on the second floor of the mansion. While heading there, I couldn’t stop admiring the beauty of all the decorations, which, even though they appeared antique and old, were fascinating to my eyes.

From the large window of the room, made of expensive thick glass, I can see the wide yard of the mansion with many trees. I don’t know, but watching them silently, I feel like I’m right inside the Forester Woods. Or maybe it’s just me who’s thinking about that?
