In answer, I kissed him, deep and claiming. He responded instantly, a growl rumbling from his chest as he lifted me and carried me to the couch against the wall. There was no time for gentleness - the drug coursing through his system demanded immediate release.

“Mine,” he growled, pushing my gown up my thighs with trembling hands. “Say it.”
