Avery’s POV

I stood frozen, my heart pounding in my chest as the battle between Dylan and Julian raged on. My instincts screamed at me to run, to escape the violence that threatened to tear apart everything I had ever known. But there was nowhere to go. I had no wolf form to fall back on, no way to defend myself, no way to stop the chaos unfolding before me.

All I could do was watch.
