The moment I returned to my Pack, I wasted no time.

Avery may be upset with me or even hate me, but she knew deep that that I truly had meant her no harm. And even if she refused to acknowledge it, even if she still saw me as a stranger, I wouldn’t let her walk this path alone.

“Has she left the Golden-Ridge Pack today?” I asked without looking up from the reports scattered across my desk.
