The next morning, I was in Devon’s room, doing my makeup when I heard a knock on the door. I stood up, walked toward the door and pressed it open. “What are you doing here?” I saw a sweaty maid, panting hard as she looked at me.

“Lady... Lady...” She held her chest as she tried to steady her breathing. “Sir Gabriel lost consciousness again,” The maid cried.

I gasped and covered my mouth, “Lost consciousness? What happened?” I asked, shocked.
