She kept quiet again, I could see the hesitation in her eyes and I let out a sigh of despair.

"Aurora, please talk to me," I pleaded, my patience beginning to fray. She finally spoke, her eyes fixed on Kaden.

"Your son looks just like Alpha Devon," she said, her voice quiet. My heart dropped to my stomach.

"No, he's not," I lied, my voice wavering.

“People are saying it dear, I’m only a messenger,” Aurora said, her gaze still fixed on him.

“And I’m telling you it’s a lie,” I said, my voice tinged with anger.
