Bella’s POV

I couldn’t believe my ears. How could that person, the one I met at the club be Devon? Although he looked like him to me that day... Wait! He actually looked like the masked man but then, I felt like I was just drunk.

Listening to his explanations, He was indeed right but it was too much to believe. What about the pain I had been feeling since then? What about the guilt?

I shook my head as I took a few steps back from him “You are lying.” I said, shaking my head. “You are not him,” I mumbled, still shaking my head.

I looked toward the door and nodded my head “Yes, I should go find the man. I should return to the hotel and find out who he is. He can’t be Devon.” I told myself as I ran toward the door without looking back.
