My eyes flashed and I immediately turned to face Dennis. “Get me the keys,” I said firmly, a hint of urgency in my tone.

Dennis seemed surprised but he did as I said. He rushed away to get the keys and returned a few seconds later. I already collected the key to the cell the moment I left him back then. His threat got to me a little and the fear of him controlling any of the guards to escape bothered me a bit so I collected the key from them and kept it myself. The only ones who knew about the whereabouts of the key apart from myself were Beta Abel and Dennis. What was assuring was that these two had a very strong mind that would never be easily controlled and apart from me, no one in the Castle was as powerful as them.
