My eyes flashed and I immediately turned to face Dennis. “Get me the keys,” I said firmly, a hint of urgency in my tone.

Dennis seemed surprised but he did as I said. He rushed away to get the keys and returned a few seconds later. I already collected the key to the cell the moment I left him back then. His threat got to me a little and the fear of him controlling any of the guards to escape bothered me a bit so I collected the key from them and kept it myself. The only ones who knew about the whereabouts of the key apart from myself were Beta Abel and Dennis.
