Aiden’s POV

I flinched as her palm landed on my cheek, the effect of the hit turning my face sideways. couldn’t retaliate. If it was to be another person they would have been dead by now but in this case it was different, very different.

“You are such a fucking idiot!” She cursed at me glaring daggers but I kept mute, “You are the cause of this! Look what the poor girl is going through all because of you, Aiden!” She shrieked at me.

“How the hell is this all my fault?” I snapped back at her, “How is it my fucking fault?!”

‘Are you seriously asking that genius?!’ Spyro snorted at me loving the exchange between us, he was glad that I was getting reprimanded.

“If you had accepted her as your Luna and treated her as the one destined for you, if you had loved her and respected her, no one would dare lay a hand on her be it you being present or not!” She let it all out in one breath, “But no, I raised a fool!”

“Mother.” I said lowly, “I am sorry.”
