Chapter 68

Gabby’s POV

Tears rolled from my eyes and down my cheeks as he glared daggers at me barking out every harsh Words and I wanted to crawl under the table in shame as I felt the disgusted gazes the other men casted in my direction.

“Get on all fours and eat the food from the ground like a dog!”

“No.” I managed to say even as I was drowning in shame, “I cannot! I rather stay hungry!”

He slapped me across the face and I hit my head at the edge of the table, he followed with a couple of more hits.

“Do it or I will kill you! Ungrateful bitch!” He yelled out his orders again and I got on all fours immediately, bent my head and began to pick the dusty pieces of food from the ground amidst the laughter of everyone at the table.

I picked every piece he threw down, eating it with the dirt and dust. He made sure I swallowed all and I didn’t spit even the tiniest morsel out. The meal was over and he took up looking down at me where I sat like an obedient slave
