“You do know my birthday is coming up right?” He reminded me like he thought I forgot, how could I ever forget?

“I do.” I mumbled, “And it is also the day of the hearing.” I added as dread crept up my spine, “The council said it cannot be shifted.”

“Your day will be ruined because of me.”

“Hey, don’t think like that.” He cradled my face in his hands, “We are having the party first and after that the hearing will proceed and everyone will be present.”

“Hopefully, everything will go right.” I said to him as I looked up at him.

I felt guilt and dread, his day could be ruined because of me and what if Titan and Laya aren’t given the punishment they deserve? What if that day is a total disaster?
