Gabby’s POV

“Aiden.” I called watching as his head slumped forward, his hands hanging limp in the cuffs and the heaving of his chest coming to a stop.

“Aiden.” I whispered again but there was no answer, no noise, the only noise was the padding of feet as Helena’s warriors left the room.

“Aiden.” I screamed this time writhing in my cuffs trying to pull myself to get to my mate even though I knew it was impossible.

“Aiden, please do not do this to me!” I screamed with tears running down my cheeks, “I will fucking kill you if you die on me!”

At this point I wasn’t even making sense anymore and I didn’t care, I just wanted my mate to live, to live for me, I would gladly take his place right now.

“Spyro!” I yelled at Aiden’s wolf that laid on the ground like a dead dog, “Spyro! Wake up! Hera needs you!” I screamed at his lifeless form as I cried harder.
