Chapter 109
Aiden’s POV
Andros gagged as we stepped over the corpses and I was very well convinced that he wasn’t used to war, fighting or horrid bloodshed. My fist tightened around the hilt of my sword as we proceeded to the fore front.
Spyro had done a good job of finishing up the warriors inside the castle and now we were outside sword fighting with a bit of combat as Helena had deployed the non-shifter wolves on the battle ground.
Dead bodies littered the ground, wolves, vampires, wolves in their human forms, some of these bodies belonged to us while the rest were my mother’s army. It all dawned on me why the council never handed help with the supernatural army, she must have mind controlled them into giving me a no, knowing very well that she would use them for her own selfish reasons.
The good part was that we could defeat them but the bad part was they kept multiplying and hence the attacks were fierce, she was really smart to pick them.
