Gabby’s POV

“Mummy.” Kate cried running towards me, I pulled my attention away from Fay and turned to engulf my little girl on a hug.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I experienced feeling the warmth of her in my arms again. I could feel her own tears wetting my clothes and guilt ladened in me. I had been a bad mother ever since we fled from Titan. I rarely took her into consideration anytime I was about to make my rash decisions and it was all my fault that she was in danger.

“I miss you mommy.” She sniffed clutching tighter to me, “Fluffy missed you too, why did you leave me? I made a new friend at the vampire’s, I like his blonde hair just like your hair and mine and he is missing a tooth just like me.” She rambled on and on which caused me to chuckle.
