Chapter 117
Gabby’s POV
The pain of the blade cutting in my insides got me writhing in agony, my lips were pressed together suppressing my grunts as I didn’t want her to know that she really affected me.
She pulled out the blade and was about to stab me again when I curled my fingers making ivy vines out of the plants nearby, I swirled them in her direction and they wrapped around her throwing her off me.
I got on my feet buying the time to study where we were while she tried to free herself from the vines.
We were in a rocky area with snow covered surfaces and sparse plants and I noticed that we were close to the edge of a cliff and from that direction I heard howls of some animals and my heart raced recognizing that they were wild wolves and not werewolves like us. I moved farther away from the cliff, grabbed my sword and went straight to Helena again.
