The sounds did not stop at one, neither did the pain. Lake stood straight, he did not know when Ashley dropped her feet on the ground and held on to him. Behind them, the gun dropped from Jesse Wyatt's right hand and fell to the ground. In no more than ten minutes, he was on the ground along with it.
