Lake POV

It had been weeks - or almost two months - since I last stepped my feet into my Casino, Rush Empire. The receptionists had closed for the night when I arrived, so I was greeted by an empty desk and about four security guards.

I got into the elevator and headed to the floor of my office first. I needed to make sure all my files were in order and the office had not changed - for the worse, that is.
