Chapter 81. A Secret

A knock on the door caught the attention of the two women in the room. Grace moved from the sofa to her chair, while Nita was still in the same place but only corrected her sitting position.

"Come in, please," Grace said.

Vino's head poked in first between the gap in the door. "Hello there," he greeted, then stepped into the room.

After Evan returned to Bali, the position of GM was returned to him. Likewise, Vino, his executive secretary. Mario and Nita no longer held concurrent positions but fully led the HR department.

"Ah, senior secretary. What brings you here?" Nita used the nickname she created when Vino returned.

Vino walked over to Grace's desk. "It's break time. You won’t mind if I stop by here, will you?" he replied with a chuckle and sat down on a chair.

Grace smiled. "Of course not. But it’s rather strange to find Evan not asking you to do this or that," she opined.

"Well, actually Mr. Williams asked me to call you to his office.
