“Oh yes. He is,” Debbie said.

“Good,” Katherine said as he began to walk to the door. “Have a nice day, Deb.”

“You too, Mrs. Packard.”

Katherine wasn’t sure what she expected to see when she knocked and entered her husband’s office. Probably see him working on whatever had been keeping him away from home.

But definitely not to see a woman standing behind her husband and giving him a massage. She almost dropped the food she was holding.

They were obviously startled to see her too. Because the moment she came in Jensen slid the lady’s hands off his shoulders and stood up.

“Hey honey,” he said. Then he moved towards her. She hadn’t left the place she was standing and from the look in her eyes, he could see that he had hurt her so much. He knew that things hadn’t been great between them lately and he didn’t want to add to their problems. Bu
