Wedding Reply

I stared at the beautiful girl in the mirror for the umpteenth time, her dark hair up in a curly bun with tendrils on both sides of her face. Her emerald eyes stood out with the highlight of mascara.

They had gray specks in them that sparkled like stars of the night, her lips enchanting with the pink lipstick while her skin was glowing.

She was wearing a beautiful white dress that stopped above her knees, its straps sleeveless with a V-shape at the front and the back, with a white belt after the V and then a wild skirt.

With white strap heel, she looked so beautiful. Looking in the mirror I could now stand with confidence and tell the world that I’m beautiful, I don’t think there’s any fault in admiring my beauty.

But though all that is there, my heart was tightened in nervousness and the palms of my hands were starting to sweat. I couldn't understand why of all times it was now I’m being nervous.
